Welcome to the IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter!

The IEEE Malaysia Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S), and Electromagnetic Compatibility Society (EMC-S) Joint Chapter is dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and professional development in antennas and propagation, microwave engineering, and electromagnetic compatibility.

The Chapter traces its origins to 1997, when it was established as the IEEE Malaysia MTT/AP Chapter by a group of distinguished academics and industry professionals, including Prof. Dr. Zaiki Awang, Dr. Chandran, Dr. Deepak K. Ghodgaonkar, and Prof. Mazlina Esa. It subsequently became the IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter in 2001.

Over the years, the Chapter has grown into an active technical community that connects researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals through international conferences, technical meetings, workshops, industry visits, and the IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP).

Among its significant achievements, the Chapter successfully hosted the Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC 2017) and the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP 2023), demonstrating its commitment to international collaboration and technical excellence.

The Chapter continues to promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional networking while strengthening Malaysia’s contribution to the global electromagnetic engineering community.
